Local councillors and MP for Rayleigh and Wickford Mark Francois look around the construction site

Last month representatives from Essex County Council, Zenith Multi Academy Trust, and Ingleton Wood joined local councillors and MP for Rayleigh and Wickford Mark Francois to look around the construction site for our new two-storey extension? They then all signed the steels that will be in place for many years to come!

Simon Holliday, Headteacher said: "It is incredible to see the vision for appropriate facilities for our wonderful young people becoming a reality. I am particularly excited about the new sports hall and dedicated science room that will help to enhance the curriculum."

Rayleigh and Wickford MP, Mark Francois added: “As someone who lobbied the previous Government for the multi-million pound funding to underwrite this scheme, I am delighted to see it now come to fruition. Castledon is already a very good school and this major extension, being built by Morgan Sindall, is great news for SEN pupils, in both Wickford and beyond.”
